RESEARCH
All research tasks should be completed individually, even if you are working in a group. Use a different presentational format for each post. Tasks with an asterisk HAVE to be included to avoid a low E grade for incomplete work. Each task should finish with 'KEY LEARNING POINTS' with 1-4 bulleted points of what you have learnt from the task. (note - not all of these tasks have hyperlinks! - some are self-explanatory) Task 1 - Shot by Shot analysis of 30 seconds of a real video Task 2 - Research into other students' work. Task 3 - Research into a marketing package for an artist (video, digipak, posters, TV ads, magazine ads) Task 4 - Preliminary Task Task 5 - Research into the genre that you want to work in Task 6 - Analysis of at least 5 magazine ads (C grade)* Task 7 -Prelim photography task Task 8 - Analysis of at least 5 videos (C grade)* Task 9 - Analysis of at least 5 digipaks (C grade)* (Task 10 - Research into the record company - this task can be left until you have chosen your track) Task 11 - Inspirations/Directors Task 12 Research into the target audience* - remember audience feedback must be gained at each stage of planning and drafting.
